(WWCC)
The deadline for netball
volunteers to have a WWCC is July 1st 2009, after which significant
penalties apply to those who are required to have the WWCC and have
not done so. Netball volunteers who could require a WWCC are
either:
- coaches appointed or seeking
appointment for reward
- volunteer personnel who will
or are likely to travel away overnight with teams of players under
18 years of age
- Persons appointed or seeking
appointment to a role in which that person is likely to have direct
and unsupervised contact with participants under 18 years of
age
